Welcome and thank you for visiting my Civil War site.  The purpose for my development of this site is to display my modest collection of Civil War artifacts and also draw attention to the Maine units that were made up of personnel primarily from the Downeast area.  Whereas, I understand that there are stories from every state on both sides of the conflict that deserve recognition, I feel great pride in the efforts put forth by the farmers, lumbermen and fishermen that comprised these units.
